    J.T. Fetch ’08 considers himself a lucky man. An on-air anchor and reporter for News 12 in Brooklyn and the Bronx, Mr. Fetch knows how rare it is for such a young broadcast journalist to have on-air opportunities in the number one market in the country. “I’m in the front row as history is made and stories develop. I cover breaking news, but much of what I do is to localize international stories. It’s a collaborate process, crafting a story in a way that will make a connection with the viewers.”

    On a recent 24-hour trip to Texas, Valerie Patriarca ’07 spent the morning on a stake out and the afternoon touring a million dollar home. A CNBC producer for on-air crime reporter Andrea Day, Ms. Patriarca splits her time between investigating white collar crime for CNBC’s Crime & Punishment series and filming segments for the high end real estate series The Most Expensive House (We Could Get Into). Ms. Patriarca has leaned first hand that gaining experiences in many different areas increases the opportunities available to her.
